I Am A Fan Of Lil Wayne
I do think that he is incredibly cool and that his music is some of the best. In fact, the last time he held a concert here in our hometown, I got to buy a Lil Wayne sweatshirt after his concert. It was very cool. It was black and had the title of his songs like “Lollipop”, “Got Money”, “Stuntin like My Daddy”, “I’m So Hood”, and his name at the front.
Lil Wayne has gotten a lot of recognition for his contribution in the music industry. His name was never snubbed by the Grammy’s, and MTV even recognized him for all his contributions and influence to pop culture and awarded him as the Man of the Year a few years back.
If you see his music videos with him rapping around on his jeans and sweatshirt then you would be able to see that his music is very unique. His music is not entirely Hip Hop and he is not also concentrating on Punk or Rock. He manages to make his music fun and upbeat in its own unique way. The result is a very strongly competent form of music.
But one other thing that I admire the most about Lil Wayne is not just his music but also his sense of style and fashion. Aside from his album, I have also been collecting Lil Wayne merchandise & apparel – apparel and accessories in particular as part of my attempt to be unique and fashionable.
One of the products that I got was another Lil Wayne sweatshirt. I loved the way the sweatshirts makes me feel warm and comfortable and yet makes me feel fashionably hot at the same time. Here in Washington, the weather can get really cold which also partly explains why I prefer to buy Lil Wayne sweatshirts over Lil Wayne shirts.
Another reason why I love Lil Wayne merchandise is the fact that they are very unique and they really make a person stand out. If you notice, Lil Wayne’s fashion is fearless and knows no rules or boundaries. In fact he is never afraid to create his own look even if he knows he would stand out as the odd member in a crowd.
Through his music I have found confidence and through his fashion style I was inspired to be what I want to be. It made me see that I should not let any unwelcome influences define what I should wear or how I should look.
